Any self-respecting driver knows that while driving you should not be distracted by your cell phone, but sometimes you still need to answer an important call or message. Especially for this purpose there are applications that allow you to use your smartphone without taking your eyes off the road.
Google Assistant
The first application that immediately comes to mind is the standard “Google Assistant”, pre-installed on almost all Android smartphones. The “In Car” mode allows you to make calls, send messages and use various apps using voice control. In other words, you can use your phone without distracting yourself from driving.
Drivemode
Drivemode does much the same thing: it’s a voice assistant that helps you use your phone without taking your hands off the wheel. It can make calls, dial messages and play music, as well as tell you who’s calling you when you have an incoming call. In addition to this, Drivemode can also run other apps.
AutoMate
AutoMate is an all-in-one assistant that supports everything you could ever need on the road, from voice-controlled apps to navigation and media playback. Buying the premium version also unlocks gesture control and a host of personalization options.
Voice Access
Google’s Voice Assistant allows your Android smartphone to recognize the owner’s voice so you can use your phone hands-free. The app is capable of opening other utilities, reading out text in messages and pages, browsing the web, and making calls. Notably, you can customize the pace of voice reading and the tone of voice, which helps the phone recognize commands more accurately.
AutoZen
Another pretty good assistant with a navigator function. AutoZen helps you make calls and control other apps via voice, and keeps your phone screen unlocked so you don’t have to open it every time you want to see something.
AGAMA Car Launcher
AGAMA Car Launcher is a premium driver assistant that resembles a car speedometer with its interface. On the home screen it shows the date, time and temperature, but other options are also available there: music, phone apps, internet, radio and settings. In addition, AGAMA Car Launcher can be customized specifically for your car by selecting the brand in the app’s settings. But, unlike many other voice assistants, this program is not free: after a 30-day trial period, you need to buy it.
